Cheese and Bacon Muffins

Muffins are… well…. anything!.....
So they make a great snack base.

Master the muffin and you’ll never be snackless again and really, there's not much that can go wrong with this recipe.

Cheese and Bacon Muffins


Ingredients
2 cups self raising flour
Pinch of salt
Teaspoon mixed herbs -optional
1 cup grated tasty cheese
⅔ cup cooked, diced bacon (or ham)
1 egg
2 teaspoons oil
1 cup milk

Method
•Preheat oven to 180°C (356°F)
•Mix flour, salt, herbs, cheese and bacon together. Flour will separate cheese and bacon clumps for a more even spread of flavour.
•Combine egg, oil and milk. Beat lightly.
•Stir all ingredients together until well combined.
•Divide mixture evenly into 15 muffin holes.
•Bake for 20 minutes.
